Trudy Claudy, Executive Director

With 15 years of experience,she offers a wealth of experience in the daily operations and regulations of Assisted Living.  Trudy has a bachelor’s degree in sociology from State University of New York at Cortland and a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Sage College in Albany. She is a New York State licensed Nursing Home Administrator and has over 15 years of administrative experiencemanaging day to day operations in both skilled nursing and assisted living facilities.



Barbara Ann Heegan, Director of Marketing

Barbara Ann Heegan is a Graduate of SUNY Oneonta and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Child and Family Studies. She also earned her MBA from the University of Phoenix-Online and is a licensed realtor.  Barbara Ann worked for the American Red Cross September 11 Recovery Program in NYC as a Family Support Specialist directly supporting the families affected by 9/11. Barbara Ann an active member of Oneonta Rotary serving as Vice President, and a Delaware and Otsego County United Way Board Member. 




Mary Moran, Assistant Executive Director / Business Manager

Mary has 30 years of experience in the administrative and healthcare fields.  She is a Certified Nurses Aide who has extensive experience as a PT Aide, ward clerk, receptionist, and office manager.



Teresa Welsh, Resident Care Director

Teresa holds an Associate's Degree in Recreation from Mitchell College with furthering education from Southern Connecticut in New Haven.  As Resident Services Director of The Heritage, Teresa provides support, advocacy, and acts as liaison for residents.  She has over 10 years of experience working with geriatric populations.



 

Christina Hunt, Community Life Director

Christina Hunt is a graduate of William Smith College with a BA in Studio Art.  For over 15 years, she has worked as an event coordinator, instructor, community advocate, administrator, and proponent for healthy living.  Hunt oversees the programming and activities for The Plains community.


Rick Post, Memory Care Director

Rick received his Associate's Degree in Nursing from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. As Memory Care Director at The Heritage, he oversees the programs and general well-being of residents living with a variety of dementias.  Rich has 25 years of nursing experience in emergency and intensive care units and 20 years of medical case management experience.



Josh Nelligan, Dining Services Director

Josh received his Bachelor of Culinary Arts and Service Management degree from Paul Smith's College. He has a decade of experience in classic American cuisine developed while working with nationally and locally recognized resorts, restaurants, and conference centers.
